Aircraft Repossessions

At times it may be necessary for lessors to consider or to action the repossession or early lease termination of a leased aircraft. In such situations it is necessary to discern whether the existing leasee’s maintenance program is sufficient to comply with regulatory requirements and to protect the future value of your aircraft assets.

ACS can be relied upon to assess the state of your aircraft, providing you with information to help you reach an informed decision as to whether to proceed with a repossession or to negotiate an alternate solution.

If repossession is required, we have extensive experience in securing technical records, arranging interim storage and security for your aircraft and/or engines, and assessing the aircraft’s compliance with EASA, FAA and/or national aviation standards and developing a plan to assess any deficiencies.

If circumstances dictate that the aircraft is to be parted out, we can develop a plan to extract the maximum possible value from the asset.
